How we verify →
01

Company evidence

Prepare the Business Registration Certificate, incorporation and ownership records, accounts, tax documents and bank statements.

02

Repayment evidence

Show where each payment comes from under a downside case, not just a base forecast.

03

Credit risks

Explain arrears, returned payments, tax issues, concentrated customers, connected-company transfers and existing guarantees.

04

Lenders test the quality of the story between the records

Accounts show results at a period end, while bank statements reveal timing and conduct. Credit teams reconcile turnover, taxes, ageing reports and deposits to understand whether reported sales convert into cash. Large transfers to connected companies, returned payments or persistent overdrafts need concise explanations supported by records.

Industry context matters. A restaurant file should explain rent, merchant settlements and food cost; an exporter should show orders, shipping terms and buyer quality; a professional firm should connect billable work with receivables and payroll.

05

A complete file improves speed, not entitlement

Prepare current registration, incorporation and ownership records, six to twelve months of major bank statements, recent accounts, tax filings, debt schedules, customer and supplier ageing, purpose evidence and a cash forecast. Label one-off movements before the lender discovers them.

The file should show how the new repayment sits beside every existing loan and guarantee. If a director supports several related companies, list the combined exposure. Hidden obligations damage confidence more than a clearly explained weakness.
